Lake Kawaguchi is one of Fuji Goko (Five Fuji Lakes) and famous for the best view of Mt. Fuji in this area and offers a splendid and breathtaking scenery. Oshino Hakkai consists of eight ponds filled by the underground spring water from Mt. Fuji. The area is well worth exploring due to its beauty and nature.
While there you can’t miss Oshino Shinobi no Sato (Oshino Ninja Village), a Ninja theme park that was opened in 2015. There, you will be able to appreciate a Japanese traditional garden in addition to experiencing several activities in Ninja style and enjoy delicious Japanese food with local ingredients.
